Manufacturing Process Of Custom Food Paper Wraps
Packlim has an in-house production facility. All of our food paper wraps are manufactured right here in the United States. Let’s take a short look at our manufacturing process.- Wood Pulping & Refining: First the large blocks of wood are taken from the FSC certified forest. We then cut them into small pieces and mix them with chemicals to separate lignin from cellulose fibers. The cellulose fibers are then washed with water to remove impurities. Then it goes to a heated roller to form food wrapping paper rolls.
- Coating: Next the coating is done on these sheets. We provide our clients different coating choices like wax, silicone, and PE coating.
- Bleaching: Once the coating is dried the food safe wrappers go for bleaching. It is done to change the color of the paper.
- Cutting: Then the big rolls of the paper are cut into small food wrap paper sheets. We cut them through our die-cutting machines to provide you with the accurate dimensions.
- Printing Options: We use best in class offset and flexographic printing techniques to print your custom printed food paper sheets.
